A new real-estate investment firm needed a logo that encapsulated their corporate philosophy as well as their business process. They find underdeveloped and/or abandoned properties and revitalize them by introducing local vendors into properties previously out of reach to small businesses. This process serves to revitalize neighborhoods by salvaging buildings and commercial areas prone to urban blight. Their name, Dilato, is a play on the word dilate, which communicates the notion of an expanding idea. The growth of positive change.
The logo uses expanding concentric circles to represent the metaphorical growth process, while simultaneously mimicking traditional currency related design elements.
